Starting from April 4 to 6, CEO Seunghyun Oh from HD Hyundai Infracore (HDI) and employees of Emerging Sales carried out activities to strengthen distributor and customer partnerships to target the Australian market.
On the first day, plans to expand sales of large equipment were discussed with Clark Equipment, a medium to large excavator distributor. Discussions were held on the possibility of introducing future emissions regulations, the introduction of Tier 4 Final and Stage V models in preparation for moves to strengthen ESG, and next-generation product sales strategies.
They visited the sandstone worksite of Gosford Quarries, a key customer with about 30 DEVELON equipment, and monitored the equipment operation status and VOC.
The next day, they visited D-MEX Australia, a mini excavator distributor, and discussed ways to strengthen the competitiveness of mini excavator products. In the afternoon, 15 important customers with DEVELON mini excavators were invited to promote the entire lineup of DEVELON mini excavators.
Australia's construction equipment market is a core market with a size of about 18,500 units as of last year, ranking in the top 3 in emerging regions. In particular, the mini excavator market size is the highest in the emerging region, at approximately 11,500 units, making it a strategically important location.
CEO Seunghyun Oh said, “I am grateful for the efforts of our distributors to promote the DEVELON brand and expand sales even in difficult market conditions.” And he added, “We hope to build a solid relationship of trust through close communication with customers, and please improve product and channel competitiveness so that we can continue to grow in the Australian market.”
