The three construction equipment companies of HD Hyundai conducted the first joint cold weather test in Cheorwon for 5 days from January 22 to 26.
In a cold wave of -17°C, Total Performance T&D 1/2 Team, Prototype Build Verification Team, E&E Validation Team, Thermal/NVH T&D Team, Large&Medium Engine Test Team of HD Hyundai Infracore (HDI), and a total of 40 people from the group and partner companies cooperated for the tests. At the site, △ Engine low temperature start-ability, warm-up operation △ Hydraulic performance like main pump, oil tank, main control valve (MCV), etc. △ Operation of electrical components △Air conditioning test were conducted.
Test targets were total of 14 models including HDI’s Compact Track Loader (CTL). Large models like HDI’s 100t excavator and ADT were tested at the Proving Ground in Incheon and Boryeong.
Seunghyun Oh, CEO of HDI, also visited the site with executives in charge of product development and testing, encouraged employees suffering from the cold, and asked them to develop zero-defect equipment through cold weather test.
