HD Hyundai Infracore (HDI) recently expanded ‘AR Guidance’ application in emerging regions, which supports breakdown diagnosis and repair by intuitively viewing the status of construction machinery equipment through AR (Augmented Reality) technology.
AR is a computer graphic technology that displays virtual images over the reality the user sees. ‘AR Guidance’ applies AR technology to the 3D modeling data of the equipment and information collected from component sensors to help visually check and easily understand the condition of the equipment.
The AR Guidance app has two functions: ‘Guidance’ and ‘Model Viewer’. ‘Guidance’ supports diagnostic information according to equipment fault codes, sensor monitoring information, and test operation guide so that users can easily
diagnose and repair faults. ‘Model Viewer’ shows the locations and the names of major parts which can be used not only for the site where the equipment is located, but also in places far away from the equipment. It is highly useful
for remote diagnosis and maintenance of equipment.
